Rimini and Gradara

A perfect day for a drive or a ride on your bike, starting from Bellaria. First stop is Rimini, a multifaceted town; the livelihood of its city center mixing up antiquity and modernity, the spirituality of the cultivated classical references of the Malatesta Temple, the sobriety of the rooms of Biblioteca Gambalunga.
Second stop is Gradara, where you can visit the ancient castle that according to the legend was the scene to the tragic love story of Paolo and Francesca. A promenade downtown finds its worthy closure at restaurant Il Mastin Vecchio, situated directly inside the fortress.

Montebello and San Leo

The most adventurous of you can follow this route by bike, starting from Bellaria; while for a more relaxed approach you can comfortably go by car.
Montebello is a picturesque village whose main attraction is the Castle of Azzurrina, extraordinarily well-kept, which is even haunted, according to the legend.
San Leo, too, has its most beautiful gem in the Renaissance stronghold dominating over it, which you can still visit; but also its historic center is really beautiful, even, according to Umberto Eco, “Italy’s most beautiful town”.

Faenza and Riolo Terme

Faenza is the synonym for ceramics and downtown, in fact, you will find the MIC, the Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche, hosting pieces from every time and place, including ceramics decorated by Picasso, Matisse, Fontana…
Another treasure of Faenza is Palazzo Milzetti, wonderful example of neoclassical architecture that keeps the frescoes, the silks at the walls, the furniture and the whole delicate charm of the time. Nourishing break at Agriturismo Trerè and then visit to Riolo Terme, with its magnificent fortress and lush thermal spa, plunged in the green of a centennial park.
